Morning Prayer/40 Day Challenge 10/12 "The Lord's Servant"

Friday, October 12 25 Days until Election Day Day 15 Prayer Guide: Pray for each candidates position on the War on Terror to be revealed.* *Personally I feel this should be better defined. I think it should be phrased that we pray for peace, but remain vigilant and stand against evil. But in a general sense, we should pray that candidates positions on all issues be revealed and made known to the public. Our message this morning is "The Lords Servant". It specifically deals with Mary. What a fitting end to the week where weve discussed Moses, Ruth, and David. A lowly leader, someone in need of a redeemer, an imperfect heart but one of a king who chased after God, and finally on Friday a servant. This week Ive tried to make our prayers deal with real situations, real life, stuff that we see but dont want to think about - the sick, elderly, and criminals. Well close with a prayer for those who are near the end of their lives. Its a time in life that many are witness to - that is seeing someone we love who themselves know they are about to leave this earth. I also want to announce that starting this weekend Im going to host an open prayer session as a live broadcast. Anyone will be free to call in and share their concerns and pray about their concerns or those of others.
